Do you recommend playing SSF4 on ps3 or 360? I have the 3ds version and love the game, but I’d like to play with a joystick but I don’t know which version to buy

Love your videos, keep it coming

  4. OoPiegeur says:

I suck so much at this game, i can’t even do a ultra :( (:(

  5. shadewraith says:

Is the Mad Catz MvC3 stick considered a TE? I’ve heard they are, but you seem to know your stuff.

  6. DarkAdonis123 says:

@ultimadragon123 They’re the same stick. Just different art on top. The parts are identical. Unless you just want another TE stick, don’t waste your money buying an MvC3 one if you already have a SSF4 one.

@metaphorical I ALWAYS had to buy me the wired controller for the Xbox at Gamestop, it worked so much better than wireless controller because it had a better and more accessible d-pad. I too play fighting games with the wireless controller which I dislike. I hope I do have me a fightstick.

i dont think so i have a hori real arcad pro ex and i lone it i think hori makes the best sticks and i have tried both and i think a lot of ppl will agree (well at least i hope so lol)

@VesperArcade hey vesper i was wondering… would a SSF4 TE joystick be as responsive as the MVC3 TE joystick in MVC3??? im planning to get MVC3 but i dnt want to waste over a 150 bucks on the official joystick when i already have the SSF4 TE fightstick.

  10. TheDimsh says:

@VesperArcade Well I pretty much double dipped my cash .. bought ssf 4 round 2 s black and my medium punch button got stuck .. I don’t know how to open it and im desperately looking around for a vid that can show me how to do it ..

  11. Linkfirexs says:

technically, there are other fight sticks like the limited edition from tekken 6 but that one is a good one too.

  12. strykah92 says:

PS3 controllers are actually pretty good for charge characters? Are you serious? I’m biased towards the PS3 controller but I think it’s ass for charging characters.
Have you ever used the Saturn pad out of curiosity? What are your thoughts on it?

    Good vid though, very informative.

  13. azngoldfarmer893 says:

    @3piggyz
They usually have a set of fightsticks and a set of gamepads at the tv(s) for you to use. At bigger tourneys they have sets of TE fight sticks and gamepads at the screens too.

  14. 3piggyz says:

Question: If you go to a tournament, would they supply their own joystick. Like if your have a joystick for xbox and you don’t want to spend money for a ps3 joystick, would the tournament have one to lend you??? (I apologize if this is a stupid question)

  15. IRONMAN255550 says:

Hello there, i was wondering if anyone knows if EB games or any game stores sell super street fighter 4 Arcade Pads? because its impossible to find one, is it worth it to order online, what about best buy or future shop? BTW i assume its $60 for regular Arcade Pad and Tournament(no difference besides looks) $150

  16. OnionLai says:

    @VesperArcade
What minimum wage job have you worked at where you make $100 a day? Cause I wanna know.

  17. uchihalink123 says:

@koalamasta yes cuase it really is just a tourny edtion fight stick

  18. maxgunn555 says:

i love how you say xbox controller advantages rather than just controller… there is a ps3 you know adn that actually is better for fighting games as dpad is better.

  19. JohnF30Music says:

@VesperArcade minimum wage make $100 a day? sign my ass up

  20. AshLionHeart says:

Have you modded some of your joysticks to some sanwa parts?

  21. TheNoobKiller says:

That’s alot of sticks…I would like to use the Buy 1 Get 1 Free holiday deal on TE Sticks…But I’m Canadian sigh…

  22. metaphorical says:

I’m currently using the standard wireless xbox controller and as Vesper says, it is HORRIBLE. I used to have a gamestop controller where the DPAD was more like a cross and not just one big retarded circle. Unfortunately all the local stores I went to (About 12 of them) don’t carry them. I get massive headaches and I’m starting to hate SF cause I can’t block or execute moves correctly. Does anyone know a website where I can order one from? Thanks in advance.

  23. Moselter says:

@WhatTheTech FYI, Minimum wage varies depending on where you live. It’s almost 10$ where I am.

  24. WhatTheTech says:

@VesperArcade Wow, math fail, min wage is 7.25, times that by 8 hours, you get $58

  25. koalamasta says:

You are right Vesper it’s hard to use a joystick. I just got my joystick today it feels weird to use.
