Balrog

Background:

Balrog was originally once a well-known prize fighter and boxing champion.
He was ultimately barred from professional boxing for using illegal moves and for permanently injuring his opponents. He joined the Shadaloo criminal organization and worked his way up to become M. Bison’s muscle.
When Bison was killed by Akuma, Balrog inherited control of Shadaloo, but he only managed to run the criminal organization into the ground, leaving Balrog on the streets with nothing but his boxing gloves, his fetching blue shorts and a big chip on his shoulder.
When Bison returns in his new body in Street Figher IV, Balrog rejoins the new Shadaloo under Bison’s command.
