E. Honda

Background

E. Honda began training in sumo as a child, and has always aspired to being the greatest and most famous sumo wrestler of all time.

He entered the World Warrior tournaments in order to gain greater recognition and respect for the martial art of sumo wrestling around the world. E. Honda also wanted to investigate the Shadaloo organisation when he discovered drug-taking by some other sumo wrestlers, which led back to Shadaloo.

Technique

Honda’s fighting style is obviously based on the Japanese martial art of sumo. It consists of fast light attacks (including the special “Hundred-Hand Slap”), powerful heavy attacks, throws and body slamming manoeuvres. Honda also has a powerful flying headbutt.
